Bulletproof Vest

A bulletproof vest is a protective garment that absorbs the impact of bullets fired at the torso and shrapnel from explosions. They are manufactured with layers of resistant fiber to capture and deform the bullet, spreading its force over a large surface area of the vest. The vest we manufacture at JL KAYA is a bulletproof vest that includes a filling made of compact molecular polyethylene fibres of woven basalt threads, forming a continuous layer between the lining and the outer fabric.
